Doris B. Kovach, 81 of Anna, died at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at Rehab & Care Center in Murphysboro.
She was born on October 3, 1923, in Anna, the daughter of Lester M. and Mabel Atchison Broadway.
She married Charles K. Kovach on July 14, 1946 in Jonesboro.
He preceded her in death on June 24, 2004.
She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Carbondale.
She liked to read.
She was a member of Stinson Memorial Library in Anna.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Ronald Kovach of Anna and John Brian Kovach of Cobden; four grandchildren;
one great-grandchild; a sister, Betty McDonald of Cobden nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister Adonis Lence.
Funeral and burial services for Mrs. Kovach will be private.
Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna was in charge of arrangement.
Doris attended Davie Grade School and Anna Jonesboro Community High with A J Class of 1941.
