Winstead W. Hill 56, of Anna, died Friday, Dec. 8, 1995 near Mount Vernon from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born on August 8, 1939, in Anna, the son of John and Mary E. "Tootie" Walton Hill.
He was a member of Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna. He was retired as the comptroller of the YNCA in Lincoln, Neb.
He is survived by his mother, Mary E. "Tootie" Hill of Anna; nephews Richard Hill of Jonesboro, Joey Longo of Blue Point, N. Y., and Jon Longo of Albany, N, Y.; nieces Annelise Hill of Anna and Jess Rusche of Blue Point, N. Y., and by great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Winstead W. Hill and his brother, Robert W. Hill, will be Thursday, today, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna with the pastor, the Rev. Richard Hertenstein, officiating.
Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 of the VFW,
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna after 10 a.m. Thursday, today, at the church.
Winstead attended Anna Jonesboro Community High and graduated with the Class of 57
