James Robert Rich, 56 of Houston, Texas, and formerly of Anna died at 10:39 p.m. Friday, March 17, 1995, at West Houston Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
He was born Oct. 20, 1939, in Anna, the son of James W. and Betty Richardson Rich.
His father preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Neva of Houston; his mother Betty Rich of Anna; two daughters, Angela J. Rich of Gastonia, N.C., and Kelle Rich of Paducah, Ky., two sons, Ernest Scott Rich of Paducah, Ky., and Adam Rich of Palm Springs, Calif.; and two grandsons John Ryan Rich and Ian Rich.
He was a former member of Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna and the time of his death attended a Baptist church in Houston.
He was a food service manger.
He was a graduate of A-JCHS class of 1957 and served as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division.
Public graveside services were conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 1995 at the Anna City Cemetery with Mike Huggins officiating.
