Mrs. Pat L. Chamness of Rural Route 2, Anna, was born on Dec. 6, 1939, in Herrin, the daughter of Michael and Hattie Houghlan Rolando.
She died at 11:54 p.m. Monday Feb 14, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She married Bob Chamness on July 27, 1957, in Anna.
She is survived by her husband Bob of Anna; one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Rick Tweedy of Anna; one son and daughter-in-law Matt and Tracy Chamness of Anna; adaughter-in-law, Terri Partridge of Anna; six grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Chamness, on April 25, 1995, and her parents.
She was a member of Anna United Methodlist Church.
She owned and operated with her husband Bob, City Care Center, Village Inn, J.R.'s Centre and Country Side Terrace.
She was the Democrat chairwoman for Union County, Democrat precinct committeeman in Anna Precinct No 3, a member of the Illinois Health Care Association and a member of the Illinois Health Care Facility Planning Board.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pat L. Chamness will be at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. Richard Sullins and Jimmy Keller officiating.
Interment will be in Casper Cemetery.
Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home of Anna is in charge of arrangements.
Note: Pat graduated with the Anna Jonesboro Community High Class of 57.
