Donald G. Goddard, 66, of Johnston City, formerly of Anna died at 12:10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, in his home in Johnston City.
He was born Feb. 1, 1941, in Harrisburg, the son of Roy A. and Naomi Williams Goddard.
He married Gloria A. Sickmeier on Dec. 24, 1988, in Port Richey, Fla.
He was of the Baptist faith, and was a Mason and Shriner.
He was owner and operator of Mid-Continental Fuels Ind., in Johnston City.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Goddard of Johnston City; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Kenneth Ellis Jr. of Marion; his mother, Naomi Goddard of Johnston City; two grandsons, Dalton Levi and Dylan Layne Ellis of Marion; mother-in-law, Irene Sickmeier of Waterloo; aunt and uncle, Virginia and Louie Cerney of Anna; special friend, Barbara Adams of Anna; cousins, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy A. Goddard.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, in Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating.
Interment will be in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Ebenezer Hall Cemetery, and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Donald attended Anna Jonesboro Community High School and graduated with the Class of 58.
