Floyd Odell Baughman, 58 of Desoto and Formerly of Anna-Jonesboro, died at 5 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 1997, in Anna.
He was born on February 18, 1939, in Alexander County, Illinois, the Son of James W. and Viola Holmes Baughman.
His mother and grandmother Sally Holmes preceded him in death.
He is survived by his father, James W. Baughman of Havanna; an aunt Marie Gustafson of Clinton, Iowa; and other relatives.
Floyd was well known in the Union County area, where he worked for many homeowners and business as well as school and park districts.
He was a member of the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, August 18, at Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna with Rev. Charles E. Mitchell officiating.
Interment was in Jonesboro Cemetery.
Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna was in charge of Arrangements.
He attended Jonesboro grade school and Anna Jonesboro Community High School and graduated with the Class of 59.
