Jerry Fear 1960

Jerry L. Fear, son of Mr. Luther O. and Helen Pitts Fear died about 1965 in a car accident.
Survivors include his parents of Anna; brothers and spouses Luther Fear Jr. and Nell of Anna, Ron Fear of Anna, Steve and Jana Fear of Dongola; one sister and spouse Joann and Jib Jones of Anna; uncles Homer Fear of Jonesboro and Clifford of Anna; aunts Dorothy Aden and Thelma Lingle, both of Anna; Mary Burke of Naperville and Pauline Bond of Iowa.
He went to Jonesboro Grade School and graduated with the Anna Jonesboro Community High School Class of 1960. He was active in Science Club, French Club and Operators Club.
Jerry Fear and Jerry Hines were the only two students at A-J their Junior year in1959 that had 6th period lunch hour. They were always being asked by teacher why they were not in class. Every one else in school had 4th or 5th period lunch hour.
U. S. Marine Lance Corporal Jerry L. Fear entered the service in June 1960.
In 1962 while Jerry Fear was in the Marines in California and Jerry Hines was in the Air Force in Omaha, Nebraska, the two classmates meet in the Kansas City, Missouri train station and had a nice chat about home and school days at A-J.
