JONESBORO, Ill. -- Tammy Ury, 66, of Jonesboro died Monday, May 4, 2009, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 30, 1942 to Benjamin H."Bus" and Ruth Charity Houseman Ferrell.
She married Ron Ury on Jan. 23, 1965, in Anna.
Tammy is survived by her husband, Ron Ury of Jonesboro; three sons, Chris Ury of Tamms, Stacey & wife Tonya Ury of Anna, and Lane Ury of Rockford; one brother, Tony & wife June Ferrell of Albuquerque, NM; three grandchildren, Zachar, andrew, and Macy; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna.
Services will be at 1 pm Thursday, May 7, 2009, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna
.
Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm Thursday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribtions may be made to Southeast Missouri Hospital Foundation (for School of Nursing scholarships).
Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the Church.
Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home is located on Spring St., formerly Lutz & Rendleman and prior to that was McCarty Funeral Home
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna, with Monsignor Dennis Schaefer and Bill Littrell officiating.
Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
Note: Tammy attended Jonesboro Grade School.
She graduated with the Anna Jonesboro Community High School Class of 1960.
