Jerry Ray died in a car accident in Colorado in 1998. He and others A-J Classmate had be making the trip to Colorado to ski for many years.
Survivors include a brother Don and Shirley Ray of Anna.
Jerry was a school teacher. He went to Davie Grade School, Anna Junior High and graduated with the Anna Jonesboro Community High School Class of 1961.
He was active in sports and played a lot of high school basketball and coached at A-J for a few years.
