
ANNA - Pamela Mary (Arnold) Menees, 44, went to her Lord on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, after losing her battle with M.S., which she fought courageously since 1992.
Her love of music had her performing in the Jonesboro Grade School and the Anna-Jonesboro High School bands.
She graduated from AJ in 1981.
She came into this world Oct. 29, 1963, in Rolla, Mo. On May 12, 1984, she was joined in marriage to Jerry J. Menees at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna; to this union, two sons were born, Jerry Richard and Brandon Scott. They made their home in Millstadt.
In addition to her husband and sons, she is survived by a granddaughter, Issabella Cheyenne and her mother, Brandi; her parents, Richard and Cecilia Arnold of Jonesboro; her brothers, William Lloyd Arnold of Oro Valley, Ariz. and Douglas Paul Arnold of Paducah; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Shirley McCormick and husband, Jerry, of Belleville, Ivan Menees and wife, Mary, of Millstadt, Barbara Barker and husband, Chet, of Columbia, Lloyd "Buddy" Menees, Jr. of Gillespie, Mary Proctor and husband, Richard, of Black Shear, Ga. and Margie Teutrine and husband, Randy, of Belleville; very special godparents, Mary Lou and Ralph Heisserer of Oran, Mo.; and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Lloyd E. and Wilhelmina (Theis) Menees and sister-in-law, Sally Etling.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, in Creason Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marvin Volk officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Millstadt. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
