ANNA - Brian S. Tucker, 30, died at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 4, 2010, in St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
He was born July 15, 1979 in Cape Girardeau, the son of Vernon D. and Cynthia K. Vincent Tucker.
He is survived by his parents, Vernon and Cindy Tucker of Anna; his maternal grandmother, Betty J. Vincent of Anna; his paternal grandmother, Velma G. Tucker of Jonesboro; his uncles and aunts, Steve and Connie Vincent of Anna, Allen and Sandy Winchester of Jonesboro, David and Darla Corzine of Plano, Texas, and Patricia Tucker of Pinckneyville; cousins, Jason, Jeff, and Jenny Vincent, Elizabeth Winchester, Torey Winchester, Ashley (Aaron) Roberts, Dustin Corzine, Deleigh Corzine, Pamela Holder, and Barbara Tucker; and other relatives and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Wayne Vincent and Clifton Tucker; and an uncle, Clifton D. Tucker.
Brian graduated from Anna-Jonesboro Community High School in 1997 and went on to finish his schooling at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, graduating with a degree in Business Administration in May of 2002.
He used his degree working as an agent and financial advisor for Country Financial in Jonesboro, where he worked for more than eight years.
Brian loved many things in life but he especially loved being with his family and friends and he would keep them entertained for hours on end.
He loved to play golf and he was a well-known figure at Union County Country Club.
He especially loved to play hole 5 at "The County".
He loved to hunt and fish and he also enjoyed an occasional night out bowling with "the boys".
He will be dearly missed by all of his many, many friends and by his loving family.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2010, in Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Mark Goins officiating. Interment will be in Anna Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Brian S. Tucker Golf Scholarship Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
