Betty McNew Hart Coffman 1925 2010

Mrs. Betty Hart Coffman, age 85 of Anna, died at 9:54 A.M. Tuesday May 11, 2010 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida.
She was born February 6, 1925 in Centralia, the daughter of James Ernest and Eva Hileman McNew.
She married Aaron W. "Bud" Hart on May 10, 1942 in Jonesboro; he preceded her in death on July 13, 1969.
Later she married Thomas Coffman on February 6, 1971 in Jonesboro; he preceded her in death on September 27, 1991.
Betty is survived by one son, Aaron "Butch" Hart of Anna; one daughter, Mary Eva Mumper of Japan; four grandchildren, John "Mark" (Jennifer) Mumper of Richfield, NC, Christopher "Scott" Mumper, Brian Paul (Kristin) Mumper and Aaron Laddie (Susie) Mumper all of Huntsville AL; two brother in laws, Harlen and Merle Coffman; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband's, Aaron Hart and Thomas "Bud" Coffman; parents, James and Eva; and two sons, John W. and Alan Duane Hart.
Betty was a member of Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church for many years.
She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, DAR volunteer of the year, Garden Club, Rebecca's Lodge, Anna Moose Lodge, Red Hat Society, American Legion, 8/40, and other community organizations.
Betty retired after working for many years at Choate Mental Health Center in Anna.
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Hart Coffman will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday May 17, 2010 at Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna, with Rev. James Clark and Rev. Richard Hertenstein officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M. Sunday at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna and from 10:00 A.M. Monday until the funeral hour at Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church.
Envelopes will be available at the church and at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
