
Mrs. Marjorie Louise Farris, age 85, of Anna, went to be with the Lord at 4 p.m. Monday May 31, 2010 holding hands with her loving husband and surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 26, 1924 in Charleston, MO, the daughter of Frank and Helen Farmer Singleton.
Marjorie married Billy J. Farris on August 26, 1950 in Piggott AR. He survives in Anna.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, Bill of Anna; one son, Michael (Rita) Hancock of Jonesboro; special friend and daughter in law, Judith Hancock; two daughter in laws, Janelle Farris of Anna, and Robbie Anderson of Cave-in-Rock; nine grandchildren, Scott Doody, Andrea Decker, Jamison Moore, Michelle Hancock, Todd Hancock, Michelle S. Hancock, Chad Farris, Rachael Farris, and Jason Knez; eight great grandchildren; three great-great grandsons; one great-great granddaughter; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter Catherine Moore; one son, Mark Farris; one brother and one sister.
Marjorie was a member of the Anna Heights Baptist Church for 51 years, and taught Sunday school to the first and second graders for over 30 years.
Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Louise Farris will be at 1 p.m. Thursday June 3, 2010 at the Anna Heights Baptist Church in Anna with Rev. Scott Harner and Rev. Mark Roath officiating. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. Thursday until the funeral hour of 1 p.m at the Anna Heights Baptist Church in Anna.
