
ANNA - Harold W. Page, 79, died at 5:59 p.m. Monday, June 28, 2010, in Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born Jan. 9, 1931, in Anna, the son of Wilbert and Martha Plemons Page.
He married Mattilene "Mat" Moore on Dec. 30, 1948 in Piggott, Ark.
He is survived by his wife, Mat of Anna; one son, Tommy (Lisa) Page of Chester; a daughter-in-law, Sheri Page of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Amanda K. Page, Amy Nichole Eggemeyer, James H. Page II, and Ashley Brooke Page; three great-grandchildren, Cooper, Emma, and Zane Eggemeyer; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, James H. "Jimmy" Page; two brothers, Richard and Daniel Page.
Harold was the longest living member of Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna.
He served in the United States Air Force.
He was the Food Administrator for the Dept. of Corrections for the State of Illinois. Above all else, he loved his family and his church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Christine Erdmann officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
Memorials may be made to the Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association.
Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
